Zara is a highly creative Digital Marketing Manager, who joined UROS in 2016. She initially started out as a Sales & Marketing Associate with a focus on the Chinese market, but today she plans and executes various digital marketing and branding initiatives for global audiences. She’s also heading the social media strategy for our Goodspeed product.
Zara’s roots are in China, where she grew up and lived until the age of 23. She settled down in Finland after completing her MBA degree at the University of Oulu. In addition to her work at UROS, Zara runs her own business while also actively volunteering at the Women’s Bank, supporting women’s sustainable businesses and livelihood in developing countries, as well as mentoring other international students for their career development in Finland.
Zara’s personal values include empathy and responsibility, collaboration and independence, creativity and flexibility, passion and hard work. And as an entrepreneurial person, Zara brings her “quickly-fail-quickly-recover” mindset to anything she does. At UROS this means sharing ideas freely, not being afraid to try new things and striving to constantly be learning. “In the Chinese culture, we value families, and a family has the quality of trust and equality, support and contribution, healthy challenge and growth. I have experienced all that in my day-to-day work. UROS is my professional family in Finland”, Zara says.
